I enjoy goong on these hunts. I will honestly say that i have been on 3 with Chris Ellenburg and it wasnt because i was looking to go on as many as i wanted. Chris reached out to me with last minute cancellations and he had asked if i wanted to go. He knows my story and its always great to to get out and bond with fellow veterans and their families. I enjoyed the opportunity to take my daughter on a hunt with him and it helped her more than it did me. Its sad that people out there abuse this for Soldiers and vets. If you want free stuff get off your butt and work for it like the rest of us that dont care about getting stuff. To me its more about bonding with other vets and Soldier's to help them through the hard times and to let them know people care whats going on with them and we just want to help.

A little long, but worth the read! Here's the official story to go with it! I cannot Express my thanks and love enough for the people that were behind this hunt. Joshua York and Chris Ellenburg you guys are absolutely top notch amazing people and what you have done for me and my family by allowing me to come out on this heart pounding hut was nothing short of a lifetime experience. So I have always felt that there are other veterans and service members that deserve these hunts more than I do, hence, because I've been fortunate to have a deer lease and always figured it out. This year we lost our deer lease, So my wife Amber Colyer told me I should try one out, so I looked into Over The Edge Outdoors, and found that they were local and that the hearts behind the program were true and wanted nothing but the best for all veterans. I got chose for a whitetail doe MLD hunt and I lost my mind, I was crazy excited. So I met up with the guys in Rocksprings for the hunt. We got to the MASSIVE low fence property and we were met by Mark Ralston, who is by far one of the nicest and charismatic people I've ever met, just a stand up guy. He provided us food, lodging, rifles, rounds, everything anyone could ask for OUT OF HIS OWN POCKET, because he is a genuine american worth fighting for. He showed us the aerial map of the property told us where we could hunt and then blew our minds by changing the rules allowing us to harvest an exotic if we wanted to. I WAS FLOORED. From that point forward the pictures speak for them selves. While I was there I realized that not only was I having the time of my life, but I didnt have a worry in the world, no pain, no anxiety, no nothing, it was like everything dissapeared for a while. What these guys did for us was life changing, and I hope and pray that it continues for all my brothers and sisters to change them as it has me. Thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart for all that were behind this hunt and support this organization, and to all my friends and family, if you want to see more guys like me healed by the outdoors please go give this organization some love, join the club, or if you can give a donation, or can help them with getting guys in the outdoors that would be fantastic. I love you all, thanks for reading!
